Welcome, Los Angeles Eckhart Tolle Students!

This meetup lists Silent Groups and other Presence-related events in the Los Angeles region (see the Message Board). The Silent Groups have been active for a few years and average 5-10 people per meeting (not all of them online). We follow Eckhart's recommended format, and are registered at www.eckhartolle.com. It's not necessary to RSVP prior to attending any meeting, although it's fine if you do.

According to Eckhart, group work can be helpful for intensifying the light of your presence. A group of people coming together in a state of presence generates a collective energy field of great intensity. This raises the degree of presence of each member of the group and helps to free the collective human consciousness from its current state of mind dominance. This will make the state of presence increasingly more accessible to individuals.

Silent Groups are not "discussion" or "study" groups, as such, but afford the opportunity to watch a wide variety of Eckhart's teachings and to be present with others, which allows you to experience your true nature and inner peace.
The main intention of the groups is to experience Eckhart, stillness, and the field of presence with others.
